On connaît donc les causes de la mort de Gary Moore : il aurait donc eu un infarctus suite à l'absorption massive d'alcool. En effet dans son sang, ont été relevés 380mg d'alcool par décilitre.

The cause of death of Gary Moore has now been officially confirmed.

The legendary guitarist died just over a year ago on February 6, 2011 while on holiday in Estepona, on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

Tests have now shown Moore had a fatal heart attack after consuming huge amounts of alcohol.

In fact, he had 380mg of alcohol per decilitre of blood in his system –
more than 30mg the amount usually associated with such deaths. And that
would have put him nearly five times over the legal limit for driving in
the UK.

There were no traces of any illegal substances in his system.

New Gary Moore live album in September!

Eagle Records will release a new Gary Moore live album this autumn, under the title "Live At Bush Hall 2007". Right before the UK tour the band played a special album launch gig of the Close As You Get record - which was an 'invited-only' concert at the Bush Hall in London on the 17th of May in 2007. The concert was broadcasted by the Planet Rock radio, so you might have the recording of it, but it will be great to have an official CD version (EAGCD535) of this concert with a pro sound and hopefully with a longer tracklist. The radio broadcast was roughly one hour. As our local distributor of Eagle Rock products confirmed, the scheduled release date is 22nd September at the moment, but of course it can change during the summer, so better to follow the LOTS website and subscribing to our newsletter.
